Built by an operator, for operators
Kunz & Co. is run by Chris Kunz, a service-business operator who builds custom systems for other operators. The systems we sell are the systems we run on.

Kunz & Co. is run by Chris Kunz. Chris owns and operates Coastal Clarity, a family-run service business in San Diego scaling toward $500K in its second year.
Before founding Coastal Clarity, Chris spent nine years in tech. He started in web development in 2017 and expanded into digital marketing and SEO work for growing businesses. Three of those years were spent as a product manager at a tech startup, where he shipped both internal and external tools and saw the company through ideation to its IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.
The systems Kunz & Co. builds for clients are the same systems Coastal Clarity runs on. We sell what we use.
The reason we built this firm is simple: every growing service business hits the same wall. The tools that got you here can't keep up with where you're going. Operators end up running the systems instead of running the business. We build the system that takes the operator out of the loop on the parts that don't need them, so they can spend their time on the parts that do.
We don't bill hourly, we don't run open-ended retainer hours, and we don't optimize for keeping engagements long. We agree on a measurable outcome up front (a metric that will move, an hour count that will be reclaimed, a dollar amount that will be saved), and we ship the system that delivers it.

The principles behind every system we ship
Outcomes, not hours
Every engagement is built around a measurable business outcome. If we can't agree on the outcome, we won't take the work.
Sell what we use
Coastal Clarity runs on the systems we ship to clients. If a system isn't good enough for our own business, it isn't good enough for yours.
Built to last
The work is priced to pay for itself within one to three months of going live. The system itself should keep compounding for years.
